Slanting hill, tree branches, the direction of the rain--everything accentuates Gandalf's "I'm in a hurry" stride.
That steed's body has just whipped to a stop, look at that tail...love the speed conveyed in the creature's pose, that thing looks like it could destroy that little outcropping with just its tail.
